Off the Kerb introduces ‘Ardour’ by Jack Valentine

April 27, 2017

Off the Kerb gallery in Collingwood has announced an exciting new upcoming exhibition, ‘ARDOUR’ by British artist Jack Valentine.

This exhibition is firmly driven by a recognition of, and desire to explore, the array of creative talent in Melbourne, from musicians, to writers, to visual artists and beyond.

Valentine is inspired by what he sees as the intangible beauty of creativity and passion, and uses the rose as a visual representation of the invisible attraction that unites the arresting creatives of Melbourne.

Valentine’s work is put to paper and card with mixed media, from charcoal, pencil, acrylic, pen, and chalk – united always with a touch of gold.

The exhibition runs from 4th – 18th May, with the opening night celebrations from 6pm – 9pm on Friday 5th May. Head to Off the Kerb at 668 Johnston St in Collingwood to experience ‘ARDOUR‘.

Off the Kerb is a Melbourne-based Artist Run Initiative, which fosters and exhibits Australian and International Artists, Curators, Designers and Sound Producers and is run by a small group of creative minds.
