Our friends at in.cube8r gallery are feeling the love this Valentines month with their latest group exhibition The Love Show.

The Love Show is an immersive exhibition designed to draw you into an ever-changing landscape of emotion. Featuring a diverse group of Australian artists, the exhibition takes a look at modern love in all its forms as the artists explore the intricacies of love, beyond the view traditionally shown

Curator Tess Wait was eager to create a collection that would help demonstrate that the traditional images of love portrayed on Valentines day are not always accurate,

“I felt that Valentines Day has always been centred around a very set view of what love is and how it should be expressed. I wanted to create a show that wasn’t so rigid in it’s dimensions and was open to interpretation based on personal experience.”

Be prepared for the romantic, the platonic and the chaotic as you are taken on a journey from the kind of love that exists only in friendship to the one that comes between it.

The Love Show features works from: Aaron Billings, Madeline Bishop, Lucinda Florence, Samantha Hughes, Tegan Iversen, Liana Kappelle, Chelsea Meatchem, Liz Peniazeva, India d’Scarlett, Seth Searle, Dawn Tang and more to be announced.
