Heaven Exists For Beer Lovers, And It’s Coming To Carlton Next Weekend

May 8, 2017

It is a truth universally acknowledged that having a beer will solve most problems (or at least make them go away for a while). What better way to celebrate this wondrous beverage than to dedicate a weekend to tasting as many delicious and wacky brews as you can?

The boys behind Stomping Ground have pulled out another thirst quenching line-up for the Great Australian Beer SpecTAPular. The beer, cider and food festival is set over three days and will, no doubt, have you calling in sick on Monday.

180 never-before tasted beers will be on tap from Australian and International breweries.

Among the new brews is McCashin’s Brewery Pic’s Peanut Butter Jelly Porter, Hop Nation’s Jedi Juice and Colonial Brewing Co’s Rye N’ Gose Sling.

Because a beer is more than its name (no matter how good a pun it is) there will be plenty of experts at your service to tell you exactly what you’re drinking.

It’s wrong to drink on an empty stomach, so Melbourne’s favourite food-makers have it sorted. Have your pick of Loaded Fries, Franklin’s Classic hotdogs and of course cult classic, Mr. Miyagi as well as plenty more.

Beer heaven hits Melbourne’s Royal Exhibition Building on May 19th-21st.

Tickets are available here, and it’s definitely a good idea to get in quick as there will be limited availability at the door.
