Melbourne’s own King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have announced three intimate gigs on the back of their acclaimed Laneway Festival shows, and to support the launch of their new record, Flying Microtonal Banana.
They will be tearing up inner north late night institution The Night Cat in Fitzroy for three shows over two days, playing extended sets at each show; one featuring only tracks from the new album and another featuring all their classics!
The Night Cat is famed for the 360 degree stage, so you can get close and personal and watch the band from all angles!
Flying Microtonal Banana is one of five albums due to be released by the band in 2017 and is set to be a change for their other releases with the guys experimenting with microtones for all you music aficionados out there.
Tickets went on sale today and their shows on Saturday 18th March at 8:00pm and Sunday 19th March at 8:00pm have already sold out on oztix. Tickets are still available for the Sunday afternoon show and the band have just announced an extra show on Tuesday 21st March. Get in there quick!
Flying Microtonal Banana hits the shelves on February 24th 2017.
