It’s Labour Day, so what better way to spend it than sipping rum! As such, The Rum Diary Bar is hosting a tasting for the worlds first fair trade rum distiller Fair!
The Tasting will include 3 cocktails made using Noble Spirits products matched with 3 fair trade chocolates.
A presentation will be given by Nouha Toure’ and by The Rum Diary staff to provide insight into the moral culture and ethics based manufacture of Fair Belize.
There will also be a tasting of the only bottle of Fair Belize 10yr in Australia!

Australia’s favourite stoner-pop legends Dune Rats will release their second full length studio album, The Kids Will Know It’s Bulls**t, on Friday 3rd February. To coincide with the release, the band will be hitting the road on their The Kids Will Know It’s Bullshit National Tour and will be at the The Croxton Bandroom on March 16, 17, 18th. The shows on the 17th – 18th have sold out so grab your tickets for Thursday night while you still can! The Dune Rats will be joined by special guests (and label mates) Skegss & The Gooch Palms.

Come along to the Old Bar, bring old clothes, nicknack’s, jewellery and records for a one day only swap session.
“A clothing swap is a party where you and each of your attendees bring an agreed upon amount of clothing and accessories to the event. All of the items are fair game, so you can trade, barter, and donate clothes to your friends while snagging some new stuff to breathe new life into your closet.”
The clothes swap will go from 2-5 pm. Have some beers and get some groovy new things.

Mountain Goat Brewery: Sunday Launch
Mountain Goat Brewery, Richmond / 10am – 9pm
Mountain Goat Brewery have announced that the brewery is now open on Sundays! Head down on Sunday for their first ever Sunday opening where they’ll also be launching three new beers, Barn Burner Black Saison, Barrel Breed Plum Sour Ale, Rare Breed Attack of the Killer Hops DIPA. Doors open at midday until 6pm and at 2pm and they will be firing up the grill for a free BBQ, with vegetarian and vegan options available.
