The 1994 shocking true story that captivated the world’s interest has finally been put to the big screen. Starring Aussie-loved, Margot Robbie, as well as Sebastian Stan and Allison Janney, this black comedy follows the ice-skating career of Tonya Harding. Despite her red-neck, working class background that raises a few eyebrows, her performances are phenomenal. However, her ex-husband has other plans to tamper with her Olympic-driven goals.

Paying The Rent With WAR

An event for music-lovers to get out and see live performances of local bands including Two Steps on the Water, Parsnip, Alice Skye, Hugh Fuchsen, and Sleeping Lessons as well as a special guest speaker. Entry is free for people of Indigenous heritage (subject to capacity); otherwise tickets at the door are $10, with all proceedings being donated to WAR (Warriors of the Aboriginal Resistance). On the eve of Invasion Day, this is an event to not only enjoy a boogie, but to heighten awareness and make a difference for the stolen land we inhabit.
