Dance yourself fit with ZUMBA

Instructed by the magnificent Marlyse, get your hips moving and your heart pumping to the ever so popular dance workout, Zumba! Fun with Phascogales Jess Lawton (PhD candidate)

The Great Northern Hotel, Carlton North / 6:50pm – 8:30pm

Exposing her PhD research on the Brush-tailed Phascogale, Jess Lawton and Andrew Bennet from La Trobe University will be chatting about the threatened species. Collecting hundreds of sightings via bait stations and cameras, Jess has discovered factors that seem to influence the presence of phascogales. So what appears to assist in the conversation of this declining species of the Box-Ironback Forests? You’ll have to be there to find out!

Building on from your patisserie skills from the Level 1 course, this class will expand your knowledge to your favourite treat. Guided by an instructor, you will learn the latest trends and techniques that’ll give small cakes that added pizzaz!

Update and experiment your petit gateaux with unusual flavour combinations, colourful glazes and stunning garnishes. Oh, and of course you get to take home a selection of your creations to enjoy with your family and friends…if they make them home in time, that is.
