Movie Screening at LongPlay – Pin

Hosted by the Melbourne Horror Film Society at LongPlay in Fitzroy North, get ready for frights at a screening of 1987’s Pin

For newcomers, LongPlay has a dedicated cinema with a great size screen and the front bar offers tasty food and beverages that will be available on the night. It only holds 25, so get there early!

Memberships are required to attend the screenings and will be available to purchase on the night. It is a bargain, however, so don’t freak out! Mini memberships give you access to 3 screenings for just $8, and full memberships cover you for 12 screenings and will set you back just $25.

April’s slam will the last open slam before the exciting Grand Slam in May, so it’s the last chance for some poets to qualify for the slam that will decide who will be part of the first ever Australian team heading to the USA for the sending to National Poetry Slam in August!

Just a Scratch is a new monthly night aimed at Turntablists. The night is about providing DJs a platform to showcase their new and old routines as well as get amongst some of the best DJs in Australia to jam and play DJ games that have been designed by the JAS team. JAS will happen on the last sunday of every Month, and you can expect both local and international DJs every session!
